Macauley Cook, graduated to the Cardiff Blues Academy from his local club Treorchy.

He made his senior Cardiff Blues debut against the Exeter Chiefs in 2010, before captaining Wales U20 in the 2011 Junior World Championships.

In 2014, Cook would be named Cardiff Blues' Most Promising Player of the Season.

The utility forward has proven to be a consistent figure for the region and has become a firm Cardiff Arms Park favourite. Having grown to be an important squad member, Cook was rewarded with a contract extension in 2017/18.

Cook cemented his reputation as a Cardiff Blues stalwart by making his 150th appearance during the 2018/19 victory over Munster at Cardiff Arms Park.
