Young names twenty two for Scarlets match

Cardiff Blues start their Christmas derby matches with a first visit to Parc y Scarlets on Saturday, kick off 5.30pm.

David Young, has named a twenty two with Welsh internationals Martyn Williams, Gethin Jenkins, Tom Shanklin and Andy Powell all rested. The Blues have also rested Kiwi pair Ben Blair and Paul Tito with Young looking to make full use of his squad with three games in eleven days.
 
Leigh Halfpenny makes his second start for the Blues at Full Back with young scrum half Darren Allinson also starting for the third time. In the forwards, there is new partnership in the second row with Scott Morgan and Bradley Davies starting. The back row also has a new feel with Maama Molitika starting at 8, Ben White at 6 and Robin Sowden Taylor, Captaining the side at Openside.
 
The Blues then travel to Rodney Parade to face the Dragons on Boxing Day before playing the Ospreys on New Year’s Eve at the Arms Park. There are fewer than 300 tickets left for this match and no tickets will be sold on the day, supporters must purchase their tickets in advance.
