Warburton and Jenkins start for Wales

16th June 2016

Three Cardiff Blues have been named in the Wales squad to face New Zealand on Saturday.

Warren Gatland has made two changes to the starting line-up for the second Test with BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park favourite Rhys Patchell, now with the Scarlets, starting at full-back. Elsewhere Luke Charteris comes into the second-row.

Sam Warburton continues to captain the side from the openside flank and Gethin Jenkins holds onto the number one jersey.

Ellis Jenkins remains on the bench after earning his Wales debut in last week’s defeat to the world champions.

“It is important we go out on Saturday with the confidence to play for 80 minutes in what will be another huge test match,” said Warren Gatland.

“We kept the ball and played well for periods of the first test and we need to convert that to the full eighty.

“It will be another huge occasion, in a packed out stadium in Wellington and we are determined to build on our first test performance.”
