Six Nations 2007 fixtures revealed

3rd May 2006

Wales will open and finish their 2007 RBS 6 Nations campaign with home games against Ireland and England respectively.

Last season’s Triple Crown winners, Ireland, must travel to Wales for their first game of the 2007 championship. Ireland's only home fixtures against France and England on successive rounds will be staged at the 82,000 capacity Croke Park as Lansdowne Road is set to undergo redevelopment at the end of the year.

Wales travel to Edinburgh on February 10th, Paris on February 24th and Rome on March 10th whilst the final tie at home against England could be the decisive match of the tournament. But if they are to repeat the success of 2005 Wales must rediscover their form and enjoy a kinder hand on the injury front.
