Cardiff Blues North Under-16s and Cardiff Blues South Under-16s were both in action on Wednesday evening in the Regional Age Grade Championship with contrasting fortunes.
The Cardiff Blues North Under-16s faced Newport Gwent Dragons North Under-16s at Mountain Ash and played out a 24-24 draw after battling back from a 17-5 half-time deficit.
Carwyn Owen (2), George Thomas and Rhys Davies all crossed the whitewash, but two late yellow cards ultimately cost Cardiff Blues as Dragons hit back.
Meanwhile, there is also action at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park as Cardiff Blues South Under-16s lost out 12-5 to Ospreys East Under-16s.
Replacement Reuben Williams scored a try seven minutes from time, but it was Ospreys who secured the win courtesy of tries from Tiaan Thomas-Wheeler and Ethan Longley.
