Join the Cardiff Blues Supporters' Club

11th September 2013

This Friday is the first home game of the season for the Cardiff Blues at the Arms Park, and so there's no better time to show your support for your regional team by signing up as an official member of the Blues Supporters' Club.

Membership costs just £10 for adults and £5 for juniors under 18 years old. When you join, you’ll receive a special membership pack which contains a season 2013/14 members pin badge, newsletters and discounts on away travel and events, as well as a special members gift which is a branded drinks holder – to keep drinks cold and hands warm!

There are a host of other benefits too – such as entry into a draw for tickets to our VIP event (adult members only) and entry into a draw to be a Blues flag bearer (juniors only), as well as a Nandos voucher for the first few hundred members to join or renew at the start of the season (first come, first served basis).

The Supporters’ Club now also has a designated bar at the Arms Park which is open to all pre and post match where supporters can get together for a drink in a warm and friendly environment – the Jack Matthews Supporters’ Club Bar can be found under the South Stand in the Fanzone. Those who have already joined or renewed can collect their packs from the committee in the bar this Friday.

Membership is available now via the Supporters’ Club website by clicking HERE and you can also purchase seats on the trips to Exeter in the Heineken Cup via the website. The Supporters Club are offering an overnight and a day trip option – the overnight trip departs Cardiff at 1pm on Saturday, October 12 and returns after the match on Sunday, the day trip leaves Cardiff at 8am on Sunday, October 13 and returns after the match. There are discounts for CBSC members and all prices are available on the website. Please note that prices are for travel only and accommodation for the overnight trip will need to be booked individually. A recommended hotel has been requested from the Exeter Supporters’ Club and a social event is being arranged – watch the Supporters’ Club website for details over the next few weeks.

Robin Copeland, Blues Number Eight and official Supporters’ Club Ambassador said: “I met with the committee of the Supporters’ Club recently and heard about their great plans for this season. The players really value the effort they put in to encourage great support for us at home and away and we really hope that loads of you will sign up and be part of it !”
