Free season tickets for Blues district players

Each member of the five district sides has been given the opportunity to receive a Cardiff Blues season ticket for free, allowing them to watch some top quality rugby without having to spend their pocket money.

The season tickets allows entry to all regular season Magners League matches, and all Heineken Cup and LV=Cup pool matches played at the Cardiff City Stadium.

The Blues kicked off November with a hard fought draw against newly promoted Exeter Chiefs in the LV=Cup last Friday. They now return to Magners League this Sunday, taking on Ulster and follow that with Glasgow on Saturday 27 November.

Letters have been sent out to the players in each of the five district sides: Cardiffand Vale of Glamorgan, Taff Rhondda, Pontypridd, Cynon Valley and the Heart of Wales andhundreds of youngsters have taken up the offer and enjoyed watching the Blues matches at the Cardiff City Stadium.

The Blues will be holding their Regional Clubs Day on Sunday 21 November when Cardiff Blues take on Ulster, 3.45pm kick off, and there’s sure to be a great atmosphere.

The Cardiff Blues Supporters' Quarter, which is situated under the Canton Stand, has gone from strength to strength this season and had proved to be hugely popular with both home and away fans this season.

There are numerous different activities held every match, from live music and retail outlets for the adults to face painting, interactive games, player appearances and a magician for the youngsters, as well as a variety of food and drink outlets for refreshments. Doors open 90 minutes before kick off and is free to all to attend.
