Egg-cellent start - Blues Rugby Camps return!

31st March 2015

Our Blues Rugby Camps returned this Easter half-term as over 100 children descended on BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park today (Tuesday) - and they even enjoyed a special appearance from a trio of first team stars!

Lock Filo Paulo, centre Cory Allen and wing Chris Knight all dropped into the camp on day one of the three-day event to meet young rugby players, answers questions and even take part in some tag rugby sessions.

Children, aged between six and 14-years-old, from right across our region have been given the opportunity to participate in rugby during the Easter holidays.

Nadine Griffiths, Community Rugby Manager at Cardiff Blues, said: “Day one of our Easter camp was a big success with the pitch at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park full of children enjoying rugby and staying active this Easter.

“Every day is different, with a variety of skills, drills and fun games being played.  It was fantastic to see Filo, Cory and Chris come down to meet the children and it really made their day!

“We’re now looking forward to day two and even more special guests from the Cardiff Blues!”

Places at Blues Rugby Camps start from as little as £25 so don’t miss out… book today! For more information or to book a space on future camps visit: www.cardiffbluescamps.com
