Cardiff Blues Premiership Select side to face Jersey

Cardiff Blues Premiership Select have announced their team to face Jersey in the British and Irish Cup on Friday.

The Blues will travel to St Peter looking to bounce back from a 21-26 defeat to London Scottish on the opening weekend of the competition.

 

There are seven changes to the starting line-up, with USA international Cam Dolan selected at lock, and Pontypridd’s Alex Webber replacing James Beal on the wing.

 

A new combination of Ben Jones and Mike Hale will start at half-back, while Luke Crocker and James Sheekey come into the back row. 

 

Finally, Brad Thyer takes the place of James Howe as the starting loosehead prop.
