Cardiff Blues has announced the launch of its new Business Club, sponsored by housebuilder Redrow Homes.

Since moving to a state of the art new stadium, Cardiff Blues has furthered their reputation as the place to do business, with hundreds of organisations using the first-class facilities available within the Premier Club hospitality areas.

Tina Tew, Sales & Marketing Director at Cardiff Blues said:

"Our Premier Club membership continues to offer corporate followers of the Blues the ideal platform to regularly entertain clients on match days. However, we have developed this new Business Club concept, which will help make the Premier Club bigger and better, enhancing the current benefits with structured networking events on non-match days.

"The Business Club members get the chance to entertain clients, associate their brand with Wales' biggest supported rugby region and utilise the Blues brand and digital media platforms for their own marketing and promotion."

Specifically membership entitles the holder with the chance to attend four exclusive networking events per year, with high profile entertaining speakers and a wide variety of the region's business audience in attendance. Other membership benefits include five hospitality places at two Blues games, as well as five hospitality places at one Wales 6 Nations international game.

Redrow Homes are the headline sponsor of the Business Club, while the concept has already received support from a number of high profile businessses from a range of industry sectors including DS Smith Recycling, Seer Green Financial Services, Cardiff & Co, Levy Restaurants and Barclays Commercial.

Stuart Rowlands, Managing Director for Redrow Homes South Wales commented,

"Redrow are delighted to support the Cardiff Blues Business Club. As a Cardiff based company we are looking to forge strong ties on both sporting and business fronts. The Club is the perfect forum for both."

Speaking about the Business Club launch, Robert Norster Cardiff Blues Chief Executive said,

"The aim of the Business Club is to provide an all encompassing, affordable package for businesses wishing to grow their network in the area, with our national sport being the unifying force.

"We believe businesses can use the benefits of membership to reap the rewards of being associated with the Blues, either as Premier Club or Business Club members, to meet like minded individuals in a relaxed, social environment.

"We want members to utilise the stadium as the place to do business, to create connections with other members and encourage business growth in Wales between members of the Cardiff Blues corporate family."

The first Business Club event will take place in September to co-incide with the start of the rugby season and will be supported by Barclays Corporate, quickly followed by the second event in November sponsored by Seer Green Financial Services.
