Blues Rugby Camp visits training base

31st October 2014

Youngsters on the Blues Rugby Camp this October half-term enjoyed a special behind the scenes tour on Thursday as the three-day sold out camp came to a end with a once in a lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal with the Blues!

Over 100 children were special guests at The Vale and watched as the Blues finished up preparations for the Guinness PRO12 clash with Munster Rugby on Saturday afternoon.

The players posed for pictures and signed autographs at the end of the session while Director of Rugby Mark Hammett also spoke to the young rugby hopefuls.

Nadine Griffiths, Community Rugby Manager at Blues, said: “Our October half-term camp was a fantastic success and the visit to The Vale was a special finish for all the youngsters. All the players took time out to sign autographs and meet the children.

“We now look forward to our next Blues Rugby Camp in February and we are already taking bookings so please book earlier to avoid any disappointment.”
