Cardiff Blues were saddened to learn that second row forward Lou Reed's father, Robert Reed, passed away this morning
Lou withdrew from the Cardiff Blues match day squad to face Montpellier on hearing of the news.
Speaking of the news Cardiff Blues Director of Rugby Phil Davies and Chief Executive Richard Holland said,
“We are sure the thoughts of all the squad and supporters are with Lou and his family at this difficult time.
“Everyone at the Blues would like to offer their sympathies to the family and we of course will offer Lou our full support.”
