“Tafwyl is a great initiative and it sounds like there’s something for everyone at the festival in Cardiff castle.”

“There will be a few players down helping out with some rugby coaching which should be fun and we are looking forward to seeing our young supporters again after our summer break.”

“We will also be attending the Royal Welsh Show and National Eisteddfod this summer so it’s great for us players to get the chance to mingle with supporters ahead of the new season.”

“We are all excited about the move back to the Arms Park and it’s great to hear that season ticket sales are strong and fans will be coming down to show their support.”

Now in its 8th successful year, Tafwyl is a week-long festival of activities that for the first time culminates in a family friendly event in the grounds of Cardiff Castle.

The aim of ‘Tafwyl’ is to promote the wide range of Welsh language activities held throughout the year in Cardiff and to raise the profile of the language in the capital.

The event hosts a wide range of activities for adults and children ranging from music, cookery, comedy and literature workshops to stalls selling Welsh produce.

On the main stage there will be acoustic music sessions, street entertainers, dance sessions, a sports area, and all sorts of activities for children all of ages.

For the week following the fair, there will be all kinds of exciting events happening in various locations around the city, with free activities at Cardiff Castle on 23 June, gates open at 12.
