Cardiff Blues will again be boosted by the return of Wales trio Alex Cuthbert, Kristian Dacey and Scott Andrews for their Guinness PRO12 clash with Edinburgh on Friday night.
The trio have been released from Wales’ Six Nations squad for the weekend and are now available for regional selection.
All three featured in last weekend’s three try victory over Benetton Treviso and head coach Danny Wilson has again singled out Cuthbert for particular praise.
The wing was in irresistible form for the Blues, creating a try, scoring another and being a general threat all game at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.
Wilson confirmed: “Alex will be involved again this weekend.
“Last week he was outstanding. To come off the week he had leading to the game and to perform like he did, to show the mental toughness to not let those things bother him and produce that performance is something we were all very proud of.
“What really pleased me was (the reception he received) just shows what a passionate and great fan base we have.
“There was a moment Alex will cherish - he came back to the half-way line after setting up Willis Halaholo’s try and received a standing ovation.
“That was fantastic from Cardiff Blues fans, it was a touching moment and shows they are behind him.
“This group of players are also certainly behind him and his performance last weekend showed what he is capable of. Hopefully he can continue that form for us and in the future back for Wales.”
Cardiff Blues remain in a battle to finish in the top six of the PRO12 and are currently eight points adrift of Ulster.
Wilson targeted three victories from the current block of four and with a one loss and one win to date he has reiterated the need to beat both Edinburgh and Munster.
He added: “The top six has to be our goal, we got five points on the weekend and we knew from this block of four games we needed to win three to give ourselves any opportunity and four out of four in an ideal world.
“Obviously the Connacht game didn’t go to plan and we have to win the next two games to have any chance.
“We proved at the start of the year with consistency of squad selection and players we’ve recruited being available to us that we can beat anyone on our day.”
