As the WRU Under 16s Championship enters the latter stages, the Wales Under 16s national squad for the forthcoming Four Nations tournament in Lyon (18th 27th March) has been announced and in the squad of 26 players, 12 are from the Blues region.
Blues North Under 16s squads have been a real force in the championship since its inception and this is reflected in this season's squad, with no fewer than 11 players selected from their half of the region. There are also 8 Scarlets, 4 Ospreys and 2 Dragons in the travelling squad.
