Disability Sport

Cardiff Blues are committed to delivering opportunities for all, using our passion for rugby as a vehicle for social good. We currently run an Inclusive Community Club in Rhondda Fach, deliver rugby programmes in Special Educational Needs schools and work in partnership with the Welsh Deaf Rugby Union.

During school holidays Disability Camps also take place at Rhondda Fach Sports Centre.

Welsh Deaf Community Rugby Days

Cardiff Blues Community Foundation annually hold a special community project at Cardiff Arms Park in partnership with the Wales Deaf Rugby Union (WDRU) to inspire young children to further their interest in sport, rugby and give them more of a direct engagement with deaf rugby.

Pupils with hearing difficulties from schools across our region are invited to the day at the home of Cardiff Blues.

The day sees children enjoy tours of the stadium and changing rooms before training on the same pitch as their heroes, with sessions held by BTEC & FD students on the Cardiff Blues Education programmes. Cardiff Blues players also make an appearance to meet the children and sign autographs.
