At 6ft 6ins tall and weighing over 19st Bradley Davies is certainly a formidable force on the rugby pitch. The second rower captained Wales Under-19 to the Grand Slam in 2005 and made two Celtic League appearances for the Blues the same season.
Hailing from Llantrisant, the former Pant Comprehensive pupil originally played outside half before moving to the second row and was identified at 14 years of age as a future player when the regions were established. He has progressed well through the system and the 2006/07 season saw Bradley establish himself in the senior Blues squad. His energy and commitment around the field has impressed the Blues faithful and Bradley was voted the most improved player for the 2006/07 season by the supporters' club.
Bradley made his senior Wales debut against Scotland in 2009 and been a regular feature in the Wales squad since including the 2012 Rugby World Cup. At the start of 2013 Davies suffered ankle ligament damage during training, which kept the second rower of the field until the end of April. Davies was Wales skipper for the 2013 tour of Japan.
