Hooker Marc Breeze joined Cardiff Blues from Aberavon RFC in October 2011. Breeze, converted from playing in the back row to hooker under the guidance of former Wales hooker, Garin Jenkins. Marc went on to earn caps at U19 and U20 level, forming part of the 2006 Grand Slam Junior World Cup side alongside team mates James Down, Bradley Davies and Lou Reed.
The former Ospreys hooker left Wales in 2010 to join English Championship outfit, London Welsh RFC, before returning to Wales to play for Aberavon, where he reached a total of 170 appearances for the Premiership side before signing with the Cardiff Blues.
Breeze finished the 2012/13 season strongly, playing in both the Heineken Cup and the RaboDirect Pro 12. In 2012 Marc signed a contract extension with the Blues and has become a regular match day feature in the Blues line-up.
