Miles Normandale

A product of Marlwood School in Bristol, Miles Normandale first thought about making a career from playing rugby after moving to Colston School for sixth form.

Normandale completed a three year course at Cardiff Met, where he studied coaching, and after impressing when Cardiff RFC faced Cardiff Met in the SWALEC Cup he later signed for Cardiff Blues in 2013.

Bristol-born foward Normandale made his name during the 2014/15 campaign as he broke into the first team and grabbed a superb try double as Blues produced a stunning comeback performance to defeat Wasps in the LV=Cup at the Ricoh Arena.

The lock signed a new long-term deal with the region in 2015 and will now look to kick on even further in the coming seasons.
