Gavin Evans

Gavin Evans Signed from the Scarlets at the end of the 2008 – 09 season after appearing over 75 times for the West Wales region since making his debut in 2003. In the autumn of 2006 Gavin was included in the Wales squad where he made his international debut appearance from the bench against the Pacific Islands. Evans has previous caps at Wales U19 and U21 levels, and was part of the U21 Grand Slam winning team in 2005. Evans missed out on Wales's two-Test tour to Australia in 2007 due to a shoulder injury but in June was named in Gareth Jenkins's 41-man preliminary Rugby World Cup summer training squad.
