Evans rewarded with Wales call-up

23rd October 2018

Jarrod Evans has been officially called into the Wales squad for the upcoming autumn internationals.

The former Wales Under-20s star has established himself on the regional stage in the last 18 months and narrowly missed out on selection for the summer tour.

He was already training with the squad but has now been added on a permanent basis as former Cardiff Blues ace Rhys Patchell continues his recovery from concussion.

Evans joins Blues teammates Dillon Lewis, Ellis Jenkins, Tomos Williams and Gareth Anscombe in the squad.

Wales kick-off their Under Armour Series against Scotland on Saturday, November 3, followed by fixtures against Australia, Tonga and South Africa.
