Navidi retains place for Twickenham Test

6th February 2018

Josh Navidi will start at openside flanker as Warren Gatland names an unchanged side for Wales' NatWest 6 Nations clash against England at Twickenham on Saturday (KO 4.45pm)

Following the comprehensive 34-7 victory over Scotland in the opening match of the tournament last weekend, the Cardiff Blues star will once again link up with Scarlets' Aaron Shingler and Gloucester's Ross Moriarty in the back row.

Navidi was a key figure throughout the clash against Scotland, topping the tackling chart for his side and securing key turnovers, while showing his worth in attack, playing a part in the build-up to Steff Evans’ try.

The only change amongst the matchday 23 sees George North return from injury to take the place of Owen Watkin amongst the replacements, meaning Gareth Anscombe is included on the bench.

Cardiff Blues products Rhys Patchell, Leigh Halfpenny, Cory Hill and Bradley Davies are also included.
