The aircraft has been named 'butterfly baby' by the family of eight year old Stacey Butler from Barry, who attends Ty Hafan Hospice. bmibaby opened a competition to all children and families attending the hospice to name the new aircraft and explain their reasons why. Stacey and her family were presented with £250 worth of travel credits which they plan to use for a future trip with the family. bmibaby also presented Ty Hafan with a cheque for £500 who will be the official charity of the Cardiff Blues in the 2006/07 season.

The name we chose was one of many fantastic names suggested by children and families from the Hospice and I'd like to thank them all for taking part. We hope that the logo on the aircraft and the new name will help to raise the profile of Ty Hafan Hospice throughout the UK and Europe."
