Head Coach Danny Wilson admitted wing Tom James was doing all he could to push for international rugby with Wales.
James grabbed a hat-trick for Cardiff Blues in the thumping 74-6 win over Rugby Calvisano – to make it eight tries in 12 games this season.
And Wilson revealed he believes in-form full back Dan Fish must also be on the radar after another eye-catching display.
“Tom has been great – his attitude to training and to improve has shown and he takes that out onto the pitch.
“He looks extremely dangerous, especially on our playing surface which really suits him.
“Alex Cuthbert is also doing that and Dan Fish in the back three. He is another one who has got to be close because Dan is playing extremely well at the moment and his form has been superb.
“If he continues to play like that and there is a bump or a knock you never know he might have an opportunity.”
