Cardiff Blues have today confirmed the region will hit the road in pre-season when they travel to Welford Road to face Aviva Premiership giants Leicester Tigers in August.
Mark Hammett's side will be in the East Midlands for the final part of preparations of the new season on the evening of Friday, August 29 - just a week before the new PRO12 season kicks-off.
Leicester have announced the evening will be a double header of rugby for fans with a fixture against Doncaster Knights kicking-off at 5pm before the Blues provide the opposition in the second match at 7.30pm.
