Regional Rugby Wales would like to confirm that there will be no further statement on behalf of the Regions regarding their position on any new pan-European competitions over this weekend, as the Regions' priority is to support their players as they begin their RBS Six Nations campaigns today.
We would like to wish the Wales U20’s coaches and players well in their opening game tonight at Parc Eirias with 20 young players developed from community clubs and the Regions making their mark on the international stage; as well the players in Wales Women’s team for their opening 6N clash at Aberavon RFC on Sunday.
Our best wishes also go to everyone in the Wales senior squad for their opening game against Italy as we proudly watch 16 of the Regions’ players represent their country on Saturday afternoon at the Millennium Stadium.
