This is the fourth year of the Blues Cup. All these have been held at Cardiff Arms Park, with Pontypridd, Rhiwbina and Rumney being the most successful clubs winning at least one age group every year.
Rumney are again in the under 12 final this year and Pontypridd in the under 13s. Rhiwbina still have their under 14 semi final to play to keep the record going but Cowbridge who won the trophy last year stand in their way.
In the early years of the Competition Clubs in the South of the Region along with Pontypridd dominated proceedings but lately Brecon, Ystrad Rhondda, Builth Wells, Mountain Ash and Abercynon have come to the fore
