Cardiff Blues v Ulster Team Announcements

Following last weekend's record win over Edinburgh, David Young, has named a side that shows two changes for Friday’s Magners League match against current league champions Ulster, kick off 7.10pm.

Jamie Robinson starts at centre with Taufa’ao Filise coming in at prop. Tom Shanklin and Gary Powell drop to the bench.

Ulster are currently second in the league having played 17 games and are on 50 points while the Blues are fourth having played 15 and on 44 points. Friday’s game is a must win match for both teams if they are to challenge for the title.

The Blues have won their last dozen Magners League matches at the Arms Park, and have not lost at home to an Irish team in the league since Munster were the visitors in November 2005. Tickets are available online at or by calling 029 2030 2030
