"Like the club itself, Geldards prides itself on providing the highest professional standards, and, as a result, we have enjoyed an excellent working relationship with Cardiff Blues and previously with Cardiff RFC for many years. They are a very dedicated and hard-working team and we'd like to wish them the very best of luck for the coming months and years ahead."
Blues chief executive, Robert Norster, said: "We are naturally delighted that Geldards has decided to continue as the official law firm of Cardiff Blues. We have a long-term relationship that has continued to develop since its inception and one that we look forward to developing even further.
"Geldards is a well-known and respected law firm and it has always been steadfast in its support of Cardiff Blues. The firm has once again outlined its commitment to us by agreeing to a two year sponsorship extension."
As well as meeting all of the club's legal needs, the deal will involve the familiar 'geldards' name appearing at the base on the players' jerseys, in match-day programmes, on banners at the ground and on the region's literature.
Geldards LLP is one of the UK's leading regionally based commercial law firms. It has 54 partners and currently employs more than 450 people at its offices in Cardiff, Nottingham and Derby.
