The WRU, in partnership with Powys County Council, is looking for someone with drive and initiative to develop rugby union in Powys.
Powys Rugby Development Officer
(3 year fixed term contract)
Scale 5/6 (£16485 - £21654) + car
Based in Rhayader, the successful candidate will need to have a comprehensive understanding of the sports development process, as well as demonstrating effective communication and organisational skills. Experience of working with young people and a willingness to work flexible hours is essential.
The main areas of work will include the development of:
i) boys and girls clubs and junior sections; and
ii) fun rugby union in facilities across Powys for all to access.
iii) Developing a comprehensive rugby programme in partnership with the Cardiff Blues (South Powys) & Llanelli Scarlets (North Powys)
The main target group will be boys and girls of school age.
