Nick Robinson: I started playing in secondary school at Ysgol Gyfun Glantaf, in Cardiff. I always played outside half and we had quite a good side. I remember we always had tough matches against Whitchurch High.
Q) Which game do you remember most?
NR: There are so many but one of my favourite games was against Newport early in my career. There was a great crowd and the atmosphere was amazing. I was a typical Welsh derby and I was fortunate to score a try and a couple of penalties, and we went on to win the game.
Q) Any tips for the young rugby players?
NR: I think it would be to work hard and play hard. I think it's also important to take your chances when they come.
Q) Which sportsmen do you most admire?
NR: Ian Botham was my hero when I was growing up. He was an all rounder and a great cricketer. He was the type of player that could change a game and a real character. I don't get to play much cricket these days but I do play in the occasional charity match.
