Cardiff Blues CEO, Robert Norster today said:Cardiff Blues can today confirm that 2 squad members were interviewed by the police following an incident on St Mary Street on Thursday evening.
Following a Police investigation both players were released without charge and no further action will be taken. We have also conducted a subsequent internal review of the incident and concluded that no further action is to be taken by the Region. No additional comments are to be made and we now consider the matter closed.'
Detective Inspector Danny Richards, of Cardiff CID, said:
"Five men have been cautioned in connection with a public order incident in Cardiff city centre on Friday 16th September 2005."
