Glamorgan Telecom Gives Arms Park South Stand a Facelift

3rd November 2005

Regular visitors to Cardiff Arms Park may have noticed a change to the south stand at the ground.

Independent supplier of telecoms, Glamorgan Telecom, has branded the entire stand which seats over 5000 spectators in a renewed sponsorship deal with the club.

Glamorgan Telecom, which supplies telecoms services to over 2000 businesses, has been a sponsor of Cardiff Blues for over a year following the installation of a state-of-the-art telephone system at the premises. Matthew Evans, Consultant at Glamorgan Telecom says, “As a Welsh company, we are proud of our roots and were keen to come on board and support one of the major south Wales sporting teams.

“We also feel that one of the major benefits for us resulting from the sponsorship will be the interest generated from other businesses recognising the service we provide to the club.”

Bob Norster, Chairman of Cardiff Blues says, “The telephone system installed by Glamorgan Telecom at Cardiff Arms Park last year has been so effective, that we recently commissioned them to install similar equipment at our training ground at Hensol.

“We are pleased Glamorgan Telecom has renewed their sponsorship for another year and hope that they will reap the benefits of what promises to be an exciting season for the Blues.”
