Time Called on Board Banging

28th January 2004

The behaviour of a small number of Blues' supporters has come under the spotlight. Further to instances of banging of advertising boards, jeering and other attempts to distract opposition kickers at the Arms Park, a number of the Board of Directors have issued a warning that such behaviour will not be tolerated.

Chief Executive Robert Norster said "The Warm and welcoming atmosphere at the Arms Park should be extended not only to fans and officials of the opposition but also the players on and off the field"

Unsporting behaviour such as banging of advertising hoardings or otherwise looking to distract kickers is not in line with the ethos of the club and the regional side. I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to show respect and encourage others to do the same."
