"The last three seasons of sponsorship have really brought Black Horse into the public eye in the Welsh capital," said Black Horse corporate communications assistant Louise Hurley, "Now we have a local management team specifically tasked with making a valuable contribution to the community, and supporting Capital Rugby for another 3 seasons couldn't be more in keeping with this aim.
"The scheme goes straight to the grass roots and has built up a massive fund of goodwill in communities in both Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan."
Chairman of Capital Rugby, Wales legend Gareth Edwards, was full of praise for the sponsorship that Black Horse is giving to Capital Rugby and commented, "This is an exciting time for the game in Wales. It is imperative that we do all we can to promote the game and its values in both the schools and the clubs.
"We can only achieve this with the continued support of our main sponsor Black Horse and the introduction of partnerships with the Welsh Rugby Union, Cardiff Blues and the unitary authorities of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan."
"The further development of this scheme will ensure the promising and enthusiastic youngsters of today will not be lost to the game as there will be pathways from schools to clubs," he added.
