Held at Wales' premier department store, John Lewis, the Cardiff Blues Ladies Evening started with a champagne reception served by Blues star players: Casey Laulala, Lloyd Williams, Andries Pretorius and Dafydd Hewitt.

Cardiff Blues season ticket holder competition winners, along with sponsors and supporters club members not only had the opportunity to mingle with the players but they were also treated to a make up demonstrations from international make up brand Laura Mercier and each guest was given a goodybag containing their own Laura Mercier gift.

Full of the latest fashions John Lewis Department Store was open until 8pm on the evening so Cardiff Blues Ladies Evening was the ideal event to leave the husband and kids at home and enjoy a girls night out.

Speaking of the night, Cardiff Blues Marketing Executive, Annabelle Harries, said,

"This is the first time we have done such an event, and we have been delighted with the response, it's always nice to do something a bit different."

"This is our way of giving back to all the ladies who support us throughout the season."

Cardiff Blues play Munster on Friday 25 March, 7.05pm kick off in what will be this seasons Ladies Day match. Tickets for female supporters are available for only £10 and there's sure to be plenty to keep them busy with champagne, singers, dancers and number of stands including John Lewis, DW Sports in the Supporters quarter.

Gates to the Supporters Quarter open from 5:30pm and fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy all the activities. A free goodybag is available for the first 200 to arrive.
