Morris, an 18 times Welsh capped prop, who toured with the Lions in 2001 and enjoyed six years in the Guinness Premiership can play on both the loose and tighthead berths of the scrum is confident he can make an impact for the Blues.
"If I am playing well enough, and feel confident enough, then I would love to put the Welsh jersey on again.
"First thing's first though, I want to settle in at the Blues and play regular rugby here."
Morris was also quick to stress that whilst he's had some time off with injury this has only improved his game.
"The mind is very keen and the body is also very good at the minute because I haven't played a lot of rugby since having an injury the season before last," he added.
"It took me a while to get back fit, but in comparison to previous years, I'm not 'rugby-ed out' at all.
"My body is very good at the minute."
