Thousands of supporters had visited the stand over the course of the week and there was a huge presence around the sports arena as the squad was put through their paces by conditioning coaches Dan Baugh and Chris Tombs.
Wearing the new blue and pink kit, the session started with stretches and warm up before it intensified with 50kg farmer walks, 100kg sled pulls, tug of war and boxing sessions.
Players who were carrying minor injuries who were not able to take part in the session were on hand at the Blues stand to sign autographs with supporters also having the chance to have their photo taken with the Amlin Cup trophy.
Speaking at the event, Cardiff Blues Director of Rugby, David Young, said,
"We always receive a fantastic reception whenever we hold these events and it's great to be able to come to the Royal Welsh Show this year."
"We were lucky that the weather stayed dry and it's great to see supporters from all over the region having the chance to have their photograph taken with the trophy and for the players to spend time with them."
"The training session gives a bit of an insight into the kind of conditioning the players do over the summer months ahead of another tough season."
