The Blues opening opponents in the competition this year are Edinburgh at home, followed by Castres Olympique away the following weekend, two teams that Cardiff Blues have never faced before in Europe's premier rugby tournament.
However, Edinburgh are more than familiar opposition in the Magners League, with Edinburgh claiming 8 wins to the Blues' 7, in the last 15 meetings. Most recently of course, four weeks ago the Blues avenged results from last season with a 34- 23 bonus point victory against their Celtic cousins in Round 1 of the Magners League.
Tickets are available for the game priced £20 for adults and from £5 for juniors. There is a family ticket priced £20 giving admittance to two adults and two children.
