The Blues collected their first piece of silverware last weekend, with a thumping 50-12 win over Gloucester in the final on the EDF Energy Cup last Saturday.

Thousands of junior Blues traveled up to watch the Twickenham final and support the team. It was a day to remember for the fans with the team running in seven tries with Sweeney, Shanklin and James crossing 0and Blair and Halfpenny claiming two each.

Young rugby fans will look to emulate their rugby heroes in this season's Blus Cup.

At Under 10 the semi-finals will be played between Cowbridge v Treharris and the other match sees Pontypridd taking on Rumney.

The Under 11 semi final is an all north affair with Aberdare taking on Brecon. The winners will face Rhiwbina in the final.

Rhiwbina will take on Pontypridd in the U12 semi final with the winners of Fairwater v Merthyr taking on Cowbridge in the other semi 0final.

The Under 13's have already reached the final stage with St Albans taking on Rumney in the big match.

Pontypridd take on Cowbridge in the Under 14 semi final with the winners taking on St Peters.

All games are played on or before Sunday May 10th.
