New Cardiff Blues Jerseys Are a Hit

Cardiff Blues supporters are looking forward to collecting their new jersey's at Sunday's Fun Day at Cardiff Arms Park.

Since the new jerseys were unveiled in the press and on cardiffblues.com two weeks ago, the Arms Park shop staff have received almost one hundred online orders from customers from all over Cardiff, the region and mainland Europe.

The new jerseys will be available to collect on Sunday, with the Arms Park store open from 12pm. The store returns to normal hours from Monday 17th July following refurbishment with a full range of new merchandise available to buy (Normal opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 10am-3pm).

Blues season ticket holder Ceri Summerhill-Davies says,
"It's great to see such a nice design on the new kit and I think the colours reflect who we are, the Cardiff Blues. I've ordered mine online and can't wait to pick it up."

Young Supporters and Future Blues players Ifan and Aled Summerhill are particularly excited about the new white kit which they are looking forward to getting muddy whilst emulating their heroes on the local playing fields in the Rhondda.

Becky Bawler a secondary school teacher from Rhiwbina added,
"The kids have been showing me the new kit on the website and they think it's 'awesome'"

The shirt appeals to those of all ages - lifelong Cardiff RFC and Blues supporter Viv Davies who has watched Cardiff for the past 55 years commented,
"It's important we move with the times. I'm looking forward to seeing my 4 year old grandson proudly wearing the new colours of the region and cheering the Blues to a successful season."

Heath Stanley, 36 from Cardiff also agrees,
"I think the new shirt looks fantastic. I hope they do small sizes so I can buy one for my newly born niece."
