Cardiff Blues player Craig Quinnell joined schoolchildren at Birchgrove Primary School this week to highlight the difficult living conditions many young people from developing countries face, by constructing and playing traditional games.
Pupils at primary schools across Wales received an activities pack from the international relief and development charity World Vision, challenging them to construct and then play the same games which are played by children in poverty-stricken communities as part of their '700 Sponsors Appeal'. The campaign, which runs throughout the month of March, aims to recruit 700 new child sponsors in Wales.
