Cardiff Blues player Craig Quinnell joined schoolchildren at Birchgrove Primary School this week to highlight the difficult living conditions many young people from developing countries face, by constructing and playing traditional games.
Pupils at primary schools across Wales received an activities pack from the international relief and development charity World Vision, challenging them to construct and then play the same games which are played by children in poverty-stricken communities as part of their '700 Sponsors Appeal'. The campaign, which runs throughout the month of March, aims to recruit 700 new child sponsors in Wales.
Judgement Day IV is nearly upon us. The showpiece event, held for the fourth year running at the Principality Stadium, will see Cardiff Blues facing Ospreys, followed by the clash between Scarlets and the Dragons.
For the past two seasons you may have noticed an artist in the crowd and drawings appearing on twitter and TV. These collections of drawings were all produced from life, on the spot without the use of a camera in order to capture the vibrancy, emotion and atmosphere of the moment.
