Up and coming rugby players from Aberdare RFC U13's were weighing up their options last week after starring in a documentary from BBC on Aberdare Community.

The players were put through their paces by Dale McIntosh and Cardiff Blues adopted player, Craig Quinnell. The boys, although very excited, worked hard and conducted themselves tremendously well. Craig's presence and enthusiasm seemed to rub off on the guys with the coaching staff totally in awe of their undivided application.

During the session both Craig and Dale were interviewed by Emma Cook (BBC), along with Brad Williams (Crownford) and the players themselves. One player - Jack Perkins of Mountain Ash Comp and Heart of Wales U'13's - could be the ideal candidate for Wales' answer to Colin Farrell with cheeky good looks and a mentality to match.

Thank you to Jeff Baily, Huw Williams and the coaching staff of Aberdare RFC and especially Craig Quinnell for their support. And last but not least to the kids who made the evening a success.
