Cardiff Blues U18 recorded their first win over the Scarlets this season with a convincing 15-0 victory over the west walian outfit.
The Blues who had plenty of possession and territory in the first half but only led 5-0 at the interval through a try from the very impressive Chris Holcombe. Two further tries after the break sealed the Blues victory with Gareth Price and Codey Rees crossing.
Blues coach Jason Lewis was delighted with the result and moreover the attitude and intent shown by his players. The Blues next play the Dragons at Abergavenny RFC on March 15th. Incidentally the Dragons recorded their first win at U18 level this season when they beat the Ospreys 17-14 at South Wales Police RFC.
