'Grand Slam Glory' - A Celebration of Wales vs. England - two of the World's greatest rugby nations, is taking place on 3rd February 2006 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on the Eve of the Six Nations 2006 England v Wales at Twickenham.
The evening, presented by the Welsh Rugby Former International Players' Association (WREX) and London Welsh RFC, will include the annual Honda Hall of Fame Inductions. Welsh rugby legends due to be inducted include John Dawes, Gerald Davies, John Taylor and JPR Williams.
Legendary rugby players from Wales and England starring at the dinner include Gareth Edwards, Barry John, Gerald Davies and Mervyn Davies from Wales and Jason Leonard, Jerry Guscott and Brian Moore from England.
Monies raised from the eveningÂ’s fundraising will be donated to the Welsh Rugby International PlayersÂ’ Benevolent Association (WRIPBA), who provide support to players who require medical treatment for illness or injuries resulting from their playing days.
