"We are concerned about the likely availability of Jamie Robinson for the game against Celtic Warriors on 27 December. He is unable to train because of a back problem and at this stage we can rate his chances of playing at no better than 50/50.
"Elsewhere in the squad Rob Appleyard, having shaken off an ankle injury, has a knee injury and Dan Baugh is out with a neck injury, while several players are sidelined after the Premier Division match at Llandovery over the weekend.
"James Malpas (shoulder) and Gareth McCarthy (knee) are awaiting scans, Robin Sowden-Taylor has an ankle injury, and centre Richard Jones a broken cheekbone."
Young was quick to play down suggestions of an over-physical game at Llandovery. He said,
"I have watched the video twice and let there be no doubt that the better team won the match."
The Blues' team to play the Warriors will be announced on this website on Wednesday lunchtime.
