The HMS Dragon rugby team will play Cardiff Harlequins RFC, in the first of what will become an annual fixture this Friday at 3pm.

HMS DRAGON, a type 45 Destroyer, is the new principal warship for Wales which is affiliated to the City of Cardiff and Wales. To celebrate this affiliation, a new premier fixture is being established in the Welsh rugby calendar – the HMS Dragon Challenge Cup!
The HMS Dragon rugby team will play CARDIFF HARLEQUINS RFC, in the first of what will become an annual fixture, in a test of welsh might and naval steel. No doubt a ferocious and intense battle will ensue, with both sides highly charged to take this first scalp and claim the Cup.
The HMS Dragon Challenge Cup is sponsored by the Cyril Watts Foundation. The Foundation was established for the encouragement, engagement and development of sports.
There will also be a Post Match Q&A with Xavier Rush and a Panel of Welsh Internationals at the Clubhouse.
