The Evans brothers last played together in 2001 when they lifted the Roslyn Park 7s title with Wellington College.

Five other new signings will make their Glasgow debuts. Argentine fullback Bernardo Stortoni features in the back-line alongside All Black centre Daryl Gibson and Australia 7s scrum-half Chris O'Young.

In the pack, prop Michael Collins and flanker Richie Vernon also get their first start in Warriors colours

Glasgow head coach, Sean Lineen, commented: "The boys just can't wait for the season to start. I'll be looking for a big game from our pack and our half-backs.
