Over 4,000 tickets were sold over the weekend for this Sunday's second round match against English giants Gloucester at the Millennium Stadium.

Mascot Bruiser was out in Cardiff city centre over the weekend, enjoying the sunshine and cheering on the Blues. He was also busy handing out flyers to promote the mach to young supporters in the busy shopping areas of Queen Street, Castle Street and St Mary's Street.

Speaking ahead of the match Cardiff Blues Captain Paul Tito said. "It was important for us to get a big win out in Italy and set us up nicely for this weekend.

"Obviously it's a bit step up in opposition playing Gloucester but we can take confidence from our win.

"It's good to hear that the tickets sales are going so well. I've never played in the Millennium Stadium with the Blues so I'm really looking forward to it.

"Hopefully a big crowd will get behind us and it should be a great match."

The Blues have now sold over 14,000 tickets for the match which is bound to guarantee an electric atmosphere at the national stadium and tickets are still available by calling the ticket office on 029 2030 2030 or online at www.cardiffblues.com/tickets

Although all the action on the field will be at the Millennium Stadium for this game, the Arms Park is still the place to head for, before and after the game, when the Courtyard bar area behind the Clubhouse (access from Quay Street Entrance, by Gate 2 Millennium Stadium), will be open once more.

This Courtyard area has become very popular on Wales international days, featuring live music, open air bar, hot food and as its only a stone's throw from the Millennium Stadium, its the perfect spot to get your match day started. Open Sunday 19th October from 11am and on each Wales Autumn International match.
