Matthew joined the Blues region as the WRU player development officer for the Vale of Glamorgan in October 2005. An ex professional and Cardiff RFC player he has extensive experience in rugby from grassroots to regional level, Matthew will work predominantly with player development overseeing women and girls rugby, the U14s development programme, the Vale schools U15 group (Dewar Shield) and the. He is also responsible for player development in the Vale of Glamorgan primary and secondary schools. He is currently head coach of Cardiff club Rumney RFC and Blues South U16 regional squad.
